Vintage has never not been cool, but this season its design influences are particularly showing up in jewellery.
Chunkier chains, yellow gold plating and and textured hoops are all the rage, from the high street to luxe brands.
Astrid & Miyu recently launched their limited collection with vintage jewellery designer Susan Caplan using genuine vintage chains that were sitting in a warehouse unused.
Taking them under her wing, she decided to give them a new lease of life.
As suspected, most of the collaboration sold out within hours (though there’s one chain left at the time of writing we’ve featured below).
So vintage vibe pieces are not only cool, but have become fashionable in a more mainstream way this autumn.
These are some of our top picks to get around your neck, ears, fingers and wrists:
SC x A&M Essential Curb Chain Necklace
It’s the last item in the aforementioned collection left, so be quick before it goes too.
Using genuine vintage chains, you could call this simple necklace a special piece.
Susan Caplan Gold-Plated 1990s Figaro Chain Necklace
Still classic, but just that bit more statement with the varying chain link sizes.
If you missed out on the collection above, this is a Susan Caplan piece in her own right.
Zara Link Bracelets
Being a slightly old gold tone, these three bracelets in varying shapes and sizes do the trick of embodying vintage style at an affordable price point.
Given the different styles, you can dress up or down depending on how statement you want the look to be.
Accessorize Platinum-plated Vintage Hoop Set
If you want to keep it simpler, try some silver hoops with varying textures.
The effect will look subtler.
Orelia & Vick Hope Vintage T-bar Drop Necklace
T-bars are a classic nod to vintage, which back in the day were added to chains that were used on pocket watches, as Susan Caplan explained at an Astrid & Miyu event.
Missoma x Lucy Williams Square Charm Necklace
This style of chain is dainty, yet interesting with its tiny beads.
Add a stone pendant in and this classic piece is easy to pair with different outfits.
Asos Design Gold Plated Twist Rings
Stack two rings together of varying weights, or wear them on different fingers for a ring-heavy look.
The twists and grooves in these feel slightly older fashioned – in the best way possible.
& Other Stories Twist Embossed Hoop Earrings
Match these with the rings above and you’ve got some coordination.
Chunky hoops are big for this autumn and winter season.
Estella Bartlett Rope Textured Ear Cuff
An ear piece that anyone can wear – try an ear cuff to add edge to your look in subtle way.
The rope texture makes this one all the more appealing.
