If you’re anything like us, as soon as the first hint of summer beckons, out comes the Aperol Spritz, the weekend is booked up with garden parties and, finally, it is time to whip out the sandals and let your feet finally breathe.

Heaven is a place on earth and it is summer – until, of course, you have to find the right outfit for work, ready to brave the stuffy commute and somehow feel comfortable with the air-con blasting in the office.

Finding that balance can feel like an impossible task but have you ever thought, ‘why can’t I free my feet?’

Well, actually, you can and you can still impress your colleagues and pals with your fun, easy but still totally sophisticated style this Free Your Feet Day on June 24.

How, you ask?

Well it’s simple: Havaianas is the revolutionary footwear that flip-flopped the misconception of sandals on its head and proved you can be just as comfortable going to work as walking along the beach, and still be the envy of the office or the pub.

Need some inspiration? Here’s five easy ways to free your feet and still be ready to rule the workplace in looks sure to turn heads.

On-trend tailoring

The bold stripes of the sandals pop seamlessly with a tailored suit (Picture: Havaianas)

Why should a suit be dry, grey and boring? Right now there are tonnes of bold but really easy to wear suits perfect for work, a summer party or even a wedding and you don’t need to wear your sandals to commute and sneak a pair of heels or sturdy loafers in your bag.

Havaianas now have outrageously comfortable sandals in a variety of colours that are as smart with the right outfit as they are comfortable.

Personally, we’re obsessed with a tailored trouser suit and sandal combo, totally suitable for a meeting with clients, lunch with the boss or after work drinks at any bar in town.

Colourful Co-ords

Mix and match any bright sandal with some beaming colourful co-ords (Picture: Havaianas)

If you really want to make an impression and still feel like you’re quite literally walking on air then teaming up a chic colourful co-ord with a pair of bright slip-ons is the way to go.

Think a bold mustard yellow top with matching trousers styled with a popping pink sandal – so simple. so effective and an absolute dream to work in all day.

Lightweight linen

There is literally no better feeling than catching the breeze in light-weight linen, while also making sure you’re still work-ready, drinks-ready and whatever fun plan might just come your way-ready.

What’s more, there’s the perfect Havaianas sandal to make sure whatever the occasion, your feet can breathe all day. Plus your outfit will be on point for summer, autumn or spring.

Be it a linen dress or breathable trousers and a crop, linen makes sure you can stay cool in the heat and there’s quite literally no footwear that works better than a smart but easy sandal.

Make it a midi

The midi is the perfect staple to team up with sandal, and the easiest way to turn your midi up to the next level is with rubber gladiator Havaianas (Picture: Havaianas)

The midi is the perfect staple to team up with sandal, and the easiest way to turn your midi up to the next level is with a leather gladiator Havaianas, bringing class, drama and ease all in one.

Add a leather jacket or summer blazer and trust us you’ll be addicted.

Name a more iconic combo that works for quite literally every single occasion and lets your feet be completely free.

Why get that pedicure if your feet aren’t going to be the star of the show?

Go shorty

Lucie’s sliders are proof you can be cool, smart and bold all with one sandal (Picture: Havaianas)

It’s your birthday, well at least for your feet it can be. Sliders are the unbeatable accompaniment for shorts and if you’ve been following the latest trends you’ll know it’s 2022 and socks and sandals are, actually, officially in.

Personally, we think a bright sock or even a tie-dye sock is the ideal combo with a sandal, or keep it simple and comfy as hell with a plain white pair.

However you wear your sliders, though, you can’t really go wrong.

But, honestly, there has never been a better time to rock a pair of Havaianas sandals with a jazzy short and T-shirt combo, feeling like you’re on holiday even if your literally spending the weekend at a mate’s barbecue party.

So easy, so effective and so unbelievably comfortable.

Your feet will thank you later.

Free your feet and wear Havaianas to work on Friday 24th June on International Free Feet Day.
