You could become a slipper tester and earn £4,000 a year

We’re all spending a lot of time lounging around right now.

And if you want to make use of all those days at home, you could become a slipper tester.

Not only do you get free pairs of cosy footwear, you’ll also be paid £333 a month, which is just under £4,000 a year.

Bedroom Athletics advertised for the same role last year and were inundated with responses but now they want two new testers – one to try women’s slippers and one to try men’s.

You’ll also be asked to review throws, dressing gowns and cushions.

Everything you get will be a prototype for you to give your thoughts before it goes on sale to the public.

The successful candidates will be asked to wear the slippers for 12 hours a day, two days a month – but as the role will run for 12 months, you need to think ahead before you apply about whether you’ll still be able to do it post-pandemic.

Interested applicants need to fill out a form online explaining why you’d be the perfect tester.

Applications close at the end of February with the successful testers chosen in March.

Howard Wetter, Founder of Bedroom Athletics said today: ‘We’re a small but growing business and have already employed two new senior members of staff in the last three months.

‘With the two new slipper testers on-board, we’ll be in an even better position to provide the UK’s working from home work-force with second-to-none quality slippers.

‘I can’t wait to see the applications, with recent lockdowns across the UK we hope it will be the perfect job for someone, it really is a great role to slip into.’
