Bounty overnight oats are soon to be your new breakfast obsession

Once upon a time, porridge was deemed boring.

Seen as a bowl of sludge meant for grandparents and cold winter mornings, porridge was far from an exciting option.

However, in recent years, it has found new glory as a breakfast must-have. No longer the plain Jane, porridge can be dressed up and taken out on the town.

With the invention of overnight oats, porridge can be whatever you want it to be and many choose to turn it into a dessert.

From Biscoff overnight oats to a peanut butter option, the choice is endless.

And now, the foodie community on TikTok is making ‘Bounty’ overnight oats and the meal is sure to be your new morning favourite.

TikToker @evelynleia shared the recipe to her page in a video that has now been viewed over 1.1 million times.

‘These Bounty overnight oats are possibly my favourite flavour I’ve done so far, they’re so good,’ Evelyn explains in the clip.

So how exactly do you make Bounty oats?

Ingredients wise you will need 45g rolled oats, ⅓ cup of milk, 100g coconut yoghurt, 10g of 85% chocolate and 1 teaspoon of coconut oil.

First mix the oats, milk and coconut yogurt in a bowl before adding an extra layer of coconut yogurt on top.

Then melt the chocolate and coconut oil in a bowl and pour that on top.

Finally, pop in the fridge overnight and the next morning you will have a restaurant worthy breakfast dish.

Those in the comments were seriously impressed with the coconut flavoured meal.

‘This is genius thank you,’ wrote one viewer.

‘I’ve made this twice and it’s amazing! I recommend adding desiccated coconut to the oats too for that extra bounty flavour,’ said another.

Meanwhile, if coconut isn’t your flavour of choice, why not try mocha overnight oats? The brainchild of @doosifit on TikTok, all you need is almond milk, oats, vanilla protein powder, instant coffee, cocoa powder, greek yoghurt and chocolate chips.

Mix them all together, leave overnight and there you have it.
