That’s right plant-based-food lovers – the vegan edition of Greggs’ sausage, bean and cheese melt is hitting shelves once again.

It’s not yet been two months after the bakery chain announced the return of their beloved sausage, bean and cheese melt.

Now, vegans up and down the nation can rejoice, for they’ve not been forgotten.

The vegan take on one of Greggs’ most iconic menu items was first released last August before going on hiatus.

It’s wrapped in layers of crispy puff pastry and loaded with vegan sausage, grated original and mozzarella flavour vegan cheese, and essentially, baked beans.

It will be available to order and in shops for £1.65.

The eatery has been smashing it with its vegan offerings ever since the vegan sausage roll hit shelves and made massive waves.

A Greggs spokesperson said: ‘The Vegan Sausage, Bean & CheeZe Melt was extremely popular last year, and we’re excited to be putting it back on the menu.’

Greggs fans were crushed when the meaty sausage bean and cheese melt was taken off the menu last autumn thanks to supply chain issues.

Now, vegans and carnivores can both rest easy.
