Could you eat crisps for breakfast, lunch and dinner?
If so, a new restaurant venture should be on your radar – with everything on the menu dedicated to the humble tortilla chip.
The Doritos Diner is now up and running and available for takeaway – and it’s the brand’s first-ever virtual restaurant in the UK.
Doritos have teamed up with Lean Kitchen Network to open in three locations across London – Clapham Junction, Bethnal Green and Kings Cross – to offer all sorts of crisp-themed delights.
So whether you prefer Cool Original, Tangy Cheese or Chilli Heatwave, there’s something for every flavour preference on the menu – including nacho plates, chicken burgers with a Doritos crumb and BBQ wings with a crisp coating.
There are plenty of veggie options, too, including BBQ pulled jackfruit nachos, double dip quesadillas and spicy cheese and jalapeño bites.
No crisp offering would be complete without dips, so the restaurant has a great selection of these too – including flame-grilled BBQ sauce, smoky tomato salsa and jalapeño and gherkin relish.
Customers can also build their own nachos in the ‘Make Your Play’ section of the menu, where they can mix and match dips and crunches to create some unique plates.
Solo diners can also get involved with meal deal offers, and couples and larger parties can snap up combo promotions as well.
All these goodies are available on Uber Eats with dishes starting from £4.
If crisps aren’t your thing, Salt Bae has opened his first London restaurant. However, people have been shocked by the sky-high prices – with a 24-carat gold-leaf steak priced at more than £700.
There’s also a new pizza vending machine in the UK that offers five different varieties in just a few minutes. Available day and night, it’s great for commuters or those coming back from pubs and clubs.
