Ok hear us out?
Do we need to say more?
No, we can already see you are drooling at the thought.
Biscoff flavoured anything and Little Moons have had quite the year. They were the most wanted sweet treats around and now they have combined to make a magical mix.
Well, sort of. These aren’t an official Little Moons product, just a mochi creation inspired by the hyped-up brand.
Foodie TikTok page and website @thisisplanetfood shared the creation to their popular page in a video that has now been viewed over 1.6 million times.
And the best part is the delicious concoctions are surprisingly easy to make.
Here’s how it’s done.
- 150g Biscoff ice cream
- 160g glutinous rice flour
- 60g granulated sugar
- 225-250ml cold water
- 100g Biscoff biscuits, crushed
- Cornflour to dust
- Silicone utensils
- Digital scales
- Mixing bowls
- A bench scraper
First take several Little Moon sized scoops of Biscoff ice cream and place on parchment paper on a baking tray. Put the little balls back into the freezer for a minimum of two hours or overnight.
Next, you will prepare the mochi dough.
Place the glutinous rice flour (which can be purchased on Amazon), sugar and water into a bowl and mix together.
Cover this dough with cling film and microwave it in brief one minute bursts, whisking it between each burst.
On the third go you won’t be able to whisk anymore. At that point, you will need to use a wet silicone spatula to bring the dough away from the edges.
Stir in some biscoff crumbs and mix well.
Roll out the dough on corn flour and cut into small sections.
Then simply wrap these pieces of dough around the ice cream and pop them back into the freezer for two hours or more.
Those in the comments couldn’t get enough of the Little Moon and Biscoff mash-up.
‘I need these,’ wrote one viewer.
‘They look delicious,’ commented another.
While some claimed their wishes had come to fruition.
One entranced follower said: ‘I just knew I would see a Biscoff version of my dream come true.’
