After a string of delays, the release date for A Quiet Place 2 is almost here – and we’re already holding our breath.
The flick, a sequel to the 2018 film starring Emily Blunt, was set to be released last March, but was pushed back due to the coronavirus pandemic.
It will now land in cinemas next month in the UK, meaning we don’t have too much longer to wait.
Now that cinemas are opening up again, fans will finally be able to experience the sheer terror on the big screen.

A Quiet Place Part II will be in UK cinemas on June 3, less than a week after the US release date of May 28.
The sequel was originally due out last March, but film bosses pushed it back as lockdown measures came into place.
It was then slated for a September release before it was pushed forward, meaning we get it earlier than billed.
Not too shabby.

Following the easing of lockdown restrictions, cinemas are now opening up again across the country, meaning we can put aside our laptops and see the flick in person.
Cineworld, Vue, Odeon and Showcase cinemas are all showing A Quiet Place Part II, with bookings also available at Everyman locations.

Emily Blunt heads up the star-studded cast for the horror sequel, reprising her role of Evelyn Abbott.
Millicent Simmonds and Noah Jupe are also returning as siblings Marcus and Regan Abbott, with Cillian Murphy and Djimon Hounsou also starring.
Director John Krasinski – who played Evelyn’s husband, Lee Abbott in the first film before he died – is at the helm once more.
What is the story for A Quiet Place 2?
Little else is known about A Quiet Place Part II, with the final trailer dropping at the beginning of this month.
The official synopsis reads: ‘Following the deadly events at home, the Abbott family (Emily Blunt, Millicent Simmonds, Noah Jupe) must now face the terrors of the outside world as they continue their fight for survival in silence.
‘Forced to venture into the unknown, they quickly realise that the creatures that hunt by sound are not the only threats that lurk beyond the sand path.’
