*WARNING: Spoilers for A Quiet Place Part II below*
A Quiet Place Part II has only just been released on digital, but Millicent Simmonds is already terrified over what could be in store for her in a possible third film.
The sequel to the hugely popular horror flick was finally released in cinemas earlier this year after months of delays, due to the pandemic.
Director John Krasinski didn’t let us breathe calmly for a single second, upping the scares and the gore.
There is one particular scene that rivalled Emily Blunt’s infamous nail in the foot moment from the first film, when Noah Jupe’s Marcus ended up caught in a bear trap that left audiences around the world wincing in their cinema seats.
Chatting to Metro.co.uk, Millicent revealed her fears for what awaits her character, teenager Regan, if she appears in the third film.

Asked whether she’s worried for what could come Regan’s way, she laughed: ‘Oh, for sure, absolutely! I was still healthy and doing well so I definitely thought, “What might happen to myself or maybe another character?”
‘We even thought, “What could be worse than a bear trap?” So yes, I definitely have serious concerns about a third.
‘It’s funny because Emily Blunt, Noah Jupe and I actually had several in depth discussions about what we thought might happen, or what could be, and there was a lot of joking that went along with that.’
A Quiet Place Part II picks up right where the first one left off, as the surviving members of the Abbott family leave their home behind to find new shelter and more survivors.

When they come across old friend Emmett (Cillian Murphy), they soon begin to realise that there is more to fear than just the creatures that are hunting them.
It’s safe to say the open ending sets up a third movie perfectly, but Millicent remained tight-lipped on whether she will be involved.
‘As for a third film, at this point, I don’t have any idea,’ she told us. ‘I haven’t heard anything about it. I’m not sure whether a third film might focus on the Abbott family, or maybe trajectory and focus on a different family or a different community.
‘We don’t know whether it’ll still be in the same time, or if it’ll be in the future, or the past.
‘It’s something I’m very curious about myself so I look forward to that.’
John directed the first two films, and starred in them both, but announced that he would not be at the helm of a third instalment, instead taking a producing role.
‘Even though I’m the guy who did the first two, I won’t be the guy or girl who does the last one or the last two. I know that. At the end of the day, this world is really fun to explore,’ the Office favourite told the Hollywood Reporter.
‘This is an amazing sandbox to play in, and whether or not I’m the guy to do any more of them or how many more of them, I don’t know.
‘But I know that we’re really proud of the world we created. And the fact that it’s even strong enough to have this conversation about doing more is something we’re all really proud of.’
A Quiet Place Part II is available on digital to Download & Keep now, and on 4K Ultra HD+Blu-ray, Blu-ray & DVD from August 30.
