In the dark depths of 2020, you’ve got to find the moments of joy where you can – and Borat rocking out to WAP might just be what you need.

Ahead of the release of Borat 2, or (deep breath) Borat Subsequent Moviefilm: Delivery of Prodigious Bribe to American Regime for Make Benefit Once Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan, Sacha Baron Cohen’s infamous character has joined TikTok.

And has there ever been a more appropriate platform for our favourite Kazakh journalist?

In one video, Borat is seen jamming to Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion’s WAP, alongside his daughter Tutar (Maria Bakalova).

Don’t mind us, we’ll just be learning this choreo asap.

Meanwhile, Ariana Grande was casually enlisted for another video, as she was spotted subtly stealing away with a cardboard cutout of the character.

Because why not?

Ahead of the movie’s release, the character has also caused chaos on Jimmy Kimmel Live! as he wandered into the studio spraying the audience with disinfectant.

‘What have you in the canister Borat?’ Jimmy asked as he sat down.

‘I have very grave news, Kazakhstan Intelligence Services have made a discovery this morning that there is a virus,’ Borat replied.

Borat then proceeded to get out a magnifying glass and a frying pan from his bag and started to ‘hit’ the virus.

Meanwhile, the movie already has rave reviews from one man in particular – Seth Rogen.

The actor and writer, 38, admitted he’s already seen it six times and is planning a seventh viewing.

‘I’ve seen #Borat2 around six times over the last few months, and I can’t wait to watch it a seventh,’ he tweeted this week.

Sharing his review of the film, he went on: ‘It’s crazy and wonderful and couldn’t be more timely.

‘It also has a few of the funniest scenes I’ve ever seen in a movie. I’m excited for you to see it.’

Borat is set for release on Prime Video on October 23.
