Don’t Worry Darling steamy new trailer with Harry Styles and Florence Pugh causes a stir at CinemaCon

A teaser trailer from Olivia Wilde’s psychological thriller Don’t Worry Darling, starring Harry Styles, reportedly got viewers rather hot under the collar at Tuesday’s CinemaCon in Las Vegas.

The Booksmart director, 38, shared the first full trailer of the upcoming film with exhibitors as she joked about her 28-year-old boyfriend Harry as an ‘up-and-coming actor with no other career that I’m aware of’.

The film also co-stars Midsommar’s Florence Pugh as 1950s housewife Alice in a utopian experimental community.

She becomes worried that her husband, played by glorious Coachella 2022 headliner Harry, and his glamorous company might be hiding disturbing secrets as he toils away on the mysterious Victory Project.

The clip reportedly opened with a shot of the onscreen couple snuggling in bed together before moving onto rather more, um, risqué scenes.

Outside of Alice’s suspicions as she begins to observe violent acts, it appears she has no problem whatsoever engaging in intimate activities with her husband.

In the new teaser trailer, multiple sex scenes made the cut.

According to Deadline and other publications present, CinemaCon attendees saw the couple getting busy on top of the dining room table – twice apparently – while the trailer also showed them enjoying each other’s company against the kitchen sink… with Chris Pine’s character in the same room.

In fairness, we shouldn’t be surprised seeing as Harry himself recently warned fans that the movie included sex scenes his fans would not want to watch with their parents.

The same goes for his other upcoming acting project, My Policeman.

During an interview on Capital Breakfast with Roman Kemp, Sonny Jay, and Sian Welby, Harry revealed: ‘I don’t know that you can watch either with your parents. I’m going to have to do another one.’

The 11-second teaser trailer the public has so far been blessed with lead with Florence’s character soaking up the sun, before showing her and Harry in a passionate embrace as things started to get more sinister.

Don’t Worry Darling is scheduled for release in cinemas on September 23.
