Halle Bailey flicked her fins into our hearts in May of this year with her magnificent portrayal as Ariel in the live-action rendition of The Little Mermaid.
Bailey delivered a fresh version on the popular 1989 Disney film alongside castmates including Javier Barden as King Triton, Melissa McCarthy as the sea witch Ursula, Jacob Tremblay as Flounder, Awkwafina as Scuttle, and Jonah Hauer-King as Prince Eric.
Despite fresh music and a longer tale, the new film made care to include plenty of tributes to its predecessors, such as an appearance by original Ariel voice actor Jodi Benson.
With the 2023 version of The Little Mermaid just now playing in theatres on an irregular basis – and fans already looking for another Disney-related project for 23-year-old Halle – many people are wondering how (and where) they can see the film.
We have an answer for you.
Where to watch the Little Mermaid remake at home?
To the astonishment of some fans, The Little Mermaid is now accessible to view on several digital platforms in the UK.
This excludes Disney Plus, the company’s subscription-based streaming network where all of its big new titles will ultimately be featured.
Disney has made The Little Mermaid accessible for home viewing on a variety of devices via VOD as of Tuesday, July 25.
It can be purchased from Amazon Prime Video for £13.99 in the UK as well as the Sky Store and Apple TV+.
The movie is then scheduled to be released later this year on DVD and Blu-Ray on September 25.
When is the live action Little Mermaid coming to Disney Plus?

The Little Mermaid will premiere on Disney Plus at some time in the future, but no specific date has been revealed, according to Disney.
When it happens, it will be available to all users, with the streaming service now costing £7.99 per month.
Alternatively, if you want to watch a classic cartoon, the original Little Mermaid is currently accessible on Disney Plus.
