James Bond movie No Time To Die delayed again as October release date confirmed

James Bond movie No Time To Die has been delayed again, with a new October 2021 release date being confirmed.

The highly-anticipated movie will no longer be released on April 2, with the new date being announced on Twitter alongside a poster of Daniel Craig as the secret agent.

While previous delays have included longer announcements, the latest simply said: ‘No Time To Die 8 October 2021.’

No Time To Die, which is set to see Daniel on his final outing as 007, has faced a string of delays due to the coronavirus pandemic.

While it’s not exactly an unexpected move, it’s still gutting for Bond fans, especially given the hype that has surrounded the movie for the past year.

It’s been almost a year since Billie Eilish’s No Time To Die was released, and we’ve been treated to plenty of sneak-peeks of the upcoming flick, despite still having a good while to wait.

However, when we eventually get to see the blockbuster, it’s sure to stun with its star-studded cast.

Knives Out star Ana De Armas will play Paloma, Lashana Lynch will take on the 007 role, and Rami Malek already seems chilling as the villainous Safin,

Ralph Fiennes is also starring as M, while Léa Seydoux will appear as Bond’s love interest, Madeleine Swann.

Meanwhile, speculation has been building about who’s set to play the next Bond after Daniel steps down this year.

Bookies currently favour the likes of Tom Hardy and James Norton, while Rege-Jean Page and Idris Elba are outsiders in the running.

No Time To Die is set for release on October 8, 2021.
