The upcoming film, which marks Daniel Craig’s last outing as the spy, was recently pushed back until April, 2021 following the pandemic.
However, it has now been claimed that we may see 007’s latest adventure on the small screen.
Bloomberg states MGM held talks with both Apple and Netflix about possibly moving the release on to their platforms.
Insiders reportedly told the publication that the deal could be worth hundreds of millions of dollars.
Amid claims there was ‘pressure’ on the company to sell the film to a streaming service, a spokesperson for MGM insisted this was not the case.
‘We do not comment on rumours,’ they told Variety. ‘The film is not for sale.
‘The film’s release has been postponed until April 2021 in order to preserve the theatrical experience for moviegoers.’
The news comes just after film bosses revealed the premiere of No Time To Die had been pushed back once more – just weeks away from its November release date.
A statement posted to the official Bond Twitter read: ‘MGM, Universal and Bond producers, Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli, today announced the release of No Time To Die, the 25th film in the James Bond series, will be delayed until 2 April 2021 in order to be seen by a worldwide theatrical audience.

‘We understand the delay will be disappointing to our fans but we now look forward to sharing No Time To Die next year.’
While fans are yet to catch a proper glimpse at Daniel’s last outing as Bond, there has been intense speculation on who will slip into the front seat of the iconic Aston Martin.
Some of the actors who have been tipped for the role include Tom Hardy, Idris Elba and James Norton – while Priyanka Chopra and Captain Sir Tom Moore are among those who have also thrown their names into the ring.
Side note: We bet Captain Tom would smash it.
But producer Barbara Broccoli revealed there is no one in the frame just yet.
Chatting to Total Film, she added: ‘I always say: you can only be in love with one person at a time.
‘Once the film’s come out, then some time will pass, and then we’ll have to get on to the business of the future.
‘But for now, we just cannot think about anything beyond Daniel.’
No Time To Die is due for release on April 2, 2021.
