Kim Kardashian has conquered the small screen and she’s now moving onto film after landing a role in the new Paw Patrol movie.
With Keeping Up With the Kardashians ending next year, Kim, 39, has more time on her hands to expand her career and will star in PAW Patrol: The Movie, a feature-length take on the hit Nickelodeon children’s series.
The animation boasts a star-studded cast with the likes of Jimmy Kimmel, Tyler Perry, Dax Shepherd, Iain Armitage and Yara Shahidi confirmed to appear.
Announcing the exciting news on Thursday, Kim wrote in her Instagram stories: ‘I’m officially cool mom now to my kids! Paw Patrol we’re on a roll!’
No doubt her and Kanye West’s four children – North, seven, Saint, five, Chicago, two, and Psalm, one – will have front row seats when Paw Patrol is released… Or at least, watch from the comfort of their private home theatre.
Kim then shared a photo of the script with a dog emoji covering most of the page. However, one handwritten line was visible: ‘Ryder, Ryder, it’s Delores,’ hinting at her character.
She then took a selfie as she recorded her voiceover in the studio booth.
The reality star has impressively managed to fit in her new movie role with running her business empire, including KKW Beauty and Skims, as well as her law studies.
Kim will be bowing out from the small screen early next year when KUWTK airs its final season after almost 14 years.
Explaining why they decided to pull the plug, Kim recently told Grazia: ‘This was a dream of all of ours. We never imagined we would get on to season two.
‘Now we’re on 20. Sometimes we just need a break. It’s really simple. We just need a minute to regroup. You know, we haven’t had a break for 14 years.’
She continued: ‘We’ve gone in filming a season, then a spin-off and I think there’s no other way to say it other than, we just live such big live.
‘And we have kids now. And they need us. ‘There’s so much going on that, even just for a minute we need a break.’
Kim can certainly afford to take a break as Forbes just estimated her net worth at $780 million (£600 million), making her richer than younger sister and former billionaire Kylie Jenner.
PAW Patrol: The Movie is set for release on August 20 2021.
