Tom Cruise and Hayley Atwell have been spotted filming scenes for the new Mission: Impossible 7 film together in Rome.

The actors were seen repeating scenes by a crashed police car, which they both ran from while handcuffed together, making sure they got the shot absolutely flawless.

Tom, 58, and Hayley, 38, were seen crouching by the open door of the vehicle – which had an actor laying in front of it appearing to have been hit by the car, before the two actors ran from the vehicle.

Between scenes, Tom was seen masking up amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, as the rest of the crew also wore face masks throughout.

The actors have been hard at work in the past few months after filming was halted earlier this year as the pandemic to hold in Italy.

Filming has since resumed in Rome as well as in Norway, where Tom has been seen filming scenes on top of a moving train.

Other high-octane shots have included him taking on jumps on a motorbike and parachuting, ensuring Mission: Impossible 7 is going to be no less daring than the previous instalments of the franchise.

While the pandemic put the production schedule on hold for a few months, it was reported earlier in the summer that Tom had personally hired a £500,000 ship for the crew in Norway to ensure there were no more coronavirus-related delays and to keep everyone safe.

A source told The Sun earlier in the summer: ‘They are terrified of further delays. Tom is determined not to see any more hold-ups. The studio believes it will keep everyone safe and get this shoot wrapped up.’

Mission: Impossible 7 is due to be released on November 19, 2021.
