Tom Holland ‘reacts to Spider-Man: No Way Home leak’ as fans go wild for trailer

Tom Holland has seemingly hinted a new trailer is on the way for Spider-Man: No Way Home after an apparent clip was leaked online.

An alleged short promo for the upcoming movie, which is set for release in December this year, was promptly removed from various social media accounts, but not after causing excitement among fans.

Many fans believed the official trailer would drop today, and movie fans’ anticipation ramped up when Tom Holland took to his Instagram Stories to post a cryptic message.

The actor, 25, who plays the title character, wrote: ‘YOU AIN’T READY.’

When trailers have been leaked in the past, movie studios have moved in to capitalise on the buzz by releasing the actual promo, such as in 2014 with Avengers: Age of Ultron.

However, Sony has not yet put out a Spider-Man trailer but fans are remaining hopeful this may change later in the day at their CinemaCon presentation.

Taking to Twitter after Tom posted, one wrote: ‘Tom Holland put “Yall aint ready” ho his story and Sony has a panel at CinemaCon today I have high hopes.’

Predicting the trailer will in fact drop on Tuesday, another film fan wrote: ‘Let’s hope the #SpiderManNoWayHomeTrailer drops tomorrow as everyone says and that’s what @TomHolland1996 said “You Ain’t Ready”.

‘I think he means the trailer will be more amazing and it will be an absolute disaster. I can’t wait for the trailer any more.’

‘Tell me Mr. @TomHolland1996, when I’ll be ready? When I end up in the hospital for another anxiety crisis attack?!’, joked someone else.

‘Tom Holland just posted on his story “You ain’t ready!” I think he’s trying to kill me!! #SpiderManNoWayHomeTrailer,’ a fan said.

While somebody else wrote: ‘@TomHolland1996 we was born ready! Let’s go!’

The 27th film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Spider-man: No Way Home is the sequel to 2017’s Spider-Man: Homecoming and 2019’s Spider-Man: Far From Home.

While little is known about the plot of No Way Home, it is set to pick up where Far From Home left off, when Peter Parker’s secret identity was revealed to the world by Mysterio.

Spider-Man: No Way Home will be released in cinemas in the UK on December 17 2021.
