Maya Hawke and Vanessa Kirby stepped out in style this weekend for the Venice Film Festival.

Both actresses have new movies screening at the socially-distanced event.

Maya – the daughter of Uma Thurman and Ethan Hawke – attended a screening of Gia Coppola’s new film Mainstream yesterday.

The satire of influencer culture also stars Andrew Garfield.

Meanwhile, Vanessa is promoting new drama The World To Come, also starring Christopher Abbott and Casey Affleck.

The star is known for portraying Princess Margaret in The Crown, and for film roles in the likes of Me Before You and Mission: Impossible – Fallout.

Maya’s new movie follows her interview with Nylon earlier this year in which she admitted her parents’ star power has given her a leg up in the film industry.

She told the publication: ‘Oh god, I’m well aware that every part I get is somehow influenced by the history of who I am as a person and where I come from.’

The 22-year-old added: ‘I’m a not-that-famous, not-that-successful young actress, but if I get cast in something, it will get PR.’

That’s some brutal honesty right there!
