The 2021 Latin American Music Awards, which announced 2021 nominations on Tuesday (March 2), have added a new category, recognizing seven of the best virtual concerts during the global pandemic.
Nine-time nominees J Balvin and Karol G lead the pack; Bad Bunny follows with eight nominations; Anuel AA and Camilo follow with six noms each; Banda MS, Black Eyed Peas, Christian Nodal, Eslabón Armado and Natanael Cano with five; and Maluma, Reik, Shakira and Snoop Dogg with four, to name a few.
Honoring some of the most influential Latin artists of today, as voted by fans, the ceremony includes 25 categories including pop, urban, tropical, regional Mexican, and the newly added category favorite virtual concert.
