Billie Eilish drops new single Your Power and the music video is eerily mesmerizing

Billie Eilish has released the latest single from her upcoming album, and the music video for Your Power is just as mesmerizing as the track itself.

The 19-year-old treated fans to the haunting new single on Thursday, just days after confirming the release date of sophomore album, Happier Than Ever.

Following in the chill vibes of previous tracks, My Future and Therefore I Am, Your Power is soft, acoustic single that once again showcases the Grammy-winner’s soothing vocals.

In the music video, directed by Billie, she can be seen sitting on the side of a mountain in the California desert as she pleads in the chorus, ‘Try not to abuse your power’.

During the song’s second verse, an 80-pound anaconda slowly begins to wrap itself around her neck and torso – which feels like a metaphor for the suffocating power of the person she is singing about.

Something tells us that fans will be treated to more of the Grammy-winner’s typically haunting tracks when Happier Than Ever drops on July 30.

Taking to Instagram on Tuesday, the singer revealed the album cover online: ‘MY NEW ALBUM “Happier Than Ever” OUT JULY 30TH!

‘this is my favorite thing i’ve ever created and i am so excited and nervous and EAGER for you to hear it. i can’t even tell you. i’ve never felt so much love for a project than i do for this one. hope you feel what i feel. (sic)’

The star then addeed: ‘alsoooo new song out thursday at 9am too!!
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH’.

The update about the singer’s anticipated follow-up to When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? came a day after she posted a 15-second clip of the title track.

In the clip, she’s heard singing: ‘When I’m away from you / I’m happier than ever…’

We cannot wait to stream this on repeat.

Billie Eilish’s new album, Happier Than Ever, drops on July 30.
