Ed Sheeran, Lil Nas X and more announced for star-studded day two of Capital’s Jingle Bell Ball

Ed Sheeran, Lil Nas X, Mabel, Joel Corry, Anne-Marie and more have been announced for the second day of Capital FM’s annual Jingle Bell Ball with Barclaycard.

Global megastars are set to descend on London’s O2 Arena on Saturday December 11 and Sunday December 12 for the annual two-day extravaganza, with 20,000 lucky fans in attendance.

Ed will perform the massive show to promote his newest album, =, which has already birthed multiple chart-toppers including Shivers, which spent weeks at number one.

Lil Nas will play just this one UK show this year, meaning anyone who wants to hear the record-breaking Montero (Call Me By Your Name) live will have to snap up tickets for the Ball.

Joining headliners Ed and Lil Nas, as well as the hugely popular Mabel, Joel and Anne-Marie, are rapper and Youtuber KSI, the recently regrouped JLS, and rising star Griff.

The Capital Weekender Live, with dance legend MistaJam, will be supported by DJs Shane Codd, Nathan Dawe and Jonasu for Capital’s Jingle Bell Ball’s second day, ensuring audiences are up dancing every minute.

The hugely impressive lineup was announced this morning

This year’s star-studded day two line-up was announced on-air this morning by Capital Breakfast hosts Roman Kemp, Sonny Jay and Sian Welby.

The buzz surrounding the always-popular Jingle Bell Ball is more intense than ever this year as it represents the London O2’s very first multi-artist concert since the pandemic began.

And as if Grammy award-winning artists Ed and Lil Nas wasn’t enough, the Capital Ball’s first day boasts a line-up just as impressive.

Announced yesterday, day one will see former Little Mix star Jesy Nelson in her first major solo performance following her exit from the band and the release of her single Boyz.

The phenomenon that is Justin Bieber will also perform on the Ball’s first day, representing not just a UK, but European exclusive show, and the first major UK performance for the Biebs since his 2017 Purpose arena tour.

Veteran rock band Coldplay will also perform on day one, following the release of their ninth studio album Music Of The Spheres, as will Years & Years and DJ Jax Jones.

With the ball just over a month away, and boasting such a stellar line-up, fans will have to be fast – and lucky – to get their hands on tickets.

Tickets will go on general sale on Friday at 9am and are available exclusively on Global Player.
