Lee Brice Lands New Career Best on Country Airplay Chart With ‘One of Them Girls’

Lee Brice’s “One of Them Girls” rules Billboard’s Country Airplay chart for a third week, with 34.5 million audience impressions in the week ending Oct. 11, according to Nielsen Music/MRC Data.

Brice’s seventh Country Airplay chart-topper is his first three-week leader. He boasts one other multiple-frame No. 1: “Hard to Love,” for two weeks in November 2012.

Brice scores Curb Records’ first three-week Country Airplay No. 1 since Tim McGraw’s “Felt Good on My Lips” in January 2011. (McGraw was signed to Curb for over two decades, beginning in 1990.)

Coincidentally, McGraw, who now records for Big Machine Records, climbs 5-2 on Country Airplay with “I Called Mama” (33 million). On Hot Country Songs, which is powered by airplay, streaming and sales data, the track becomes his 56th top 10 as it ascends 13-8. It also drew 4.6 million streams and sold 1,000 in the tracking week.

McGraw first hit the Hot Country Songs top 10 in March 1994 with the No. 8-peaking “Indian Outlaw” and sports the most top 10s among all acts since. Kenny Chesney ranks second with 53 top 10s in that span, followed by George Strait (47).
