Little Mix are ‘adapting’ following the departure of Jesy Nelson from the band.
Jesy confirmed in December that she was leaving Little Mix after nine years with the group to focus on her mental health.
Perrie Edwards, Jade Thirlwall and Leigh-Anne Pinnock decided to continue as a trio, and are about to release their first single without Jesy, Confetti featuring Saweetie.
Speaking about how they are doing after Jesy’s exit, Jade told Euphoria magazine: ‘It’s still all systems go in Little Mix world.
‘It’s just learning to adapt. I think it’s quite exciting.’
Jade added that they ‘got off to a good start’ as their last single as a quartet Sweet Melody hit number one after Jesy left, saying: ‘That was like, “Oh wow, this is a good sign, good omen, that this year is going to be good for us.”’
Perrie, Jade and Leigh-Anne are set to go on tour next April, after their 2021 dates were rescheduled, but are expected to make an appearance at next month’s Brit Awards – their first as a trio.

The Break Up Song singers are up for best British group against The 1975, Bicep, Biffy Clyro and Young T & Bugsey.
They excitedly celebrated their nomination on Instagram, writing: ‘BEST BRITISH GROUP 🎉 This means the world to us 💗 Thank you so much for the nomination.’
While Little Mix is continuing as a trio, the girls are also embarking on solo projects, with Leigh-Anne already bagging her first movie role in the rom-com Boxing Day.
Meanwhile, Jesy has been pictured in the recording studio, and it has been claimed that she is at the centre of a bidding war of record execs keen to kickstart her solo career.
A source told The Sun: ‘Jesy’s tracks have got the music industry in a spin and she has big-money offers on the table from a few key record labels all desperate to sign her.

‘It’s an exciting time for Jesy as she’s in a great place and has loved being creative in the studio.’
After taking time off from the band due to ill health, the 29-year-old announced last year that she was leaving Little Mix for good.
In an Instagram post, she wrote: ‘The truth is recently being in the band has really token a toll on my mental health. I find the constant pressure of being in a girl group and living up to expectations very hard.
’There comes a time in life when we need to reinvest in taking care of ourselves rather than focussing on making other people happy, and I feel like now is the time to begin that process.
‘So after much consideration and with a heavy heart, I’m announcing I’m leaving Little Mix.
‘‘I need to spend some time with the people I love, doing things that make me happy. I’m ready to embark on a new chapter in my life – I’m not sure what its going to look like right now, but I hope you’ll still be there to support me.’Credit: Original article published here.
