Little Mix have the cheek, nerve, gall and gumption in Confetti video as they drag up and face male alter-egos

Little Mix have embraced drag in their new video for Confetti, showing they absolutely have the cheek, the nerve, the gall, the audacity and the gumption.

The trio, Perrie Edwards, Jade Thirlwall, and Leigh-Anne Pinnock, joined forces with Rupaul’s Drag Race UK stars, and gave us drag king realness as they came face-to-face with their male alter-egos, Pez, J-Dog and Lenny.

The music video shows the girls strutting their stuff in a club as they face up to themselves in drag, also sharing the spotlight with break-out stars of Drag Race UK, Tayce and A’Whora, who perfectly delivered one of the series’ most famous lines.

As Pez is seen spilling their drinks, the iconic duo alternate between crying out: ‘The cheek! The nerve! The gall! The gumption! The audacity!’

Tell him girls!

As if that wasn’t enough, their fellow star Bimini Bon Boulash (of ‘release the beast’ fame) came in to sort us all out.

‘Hold on a minute girls,’ Bimini says. ‘Don’t worry about this one. I’ve got it.’

Safe to say, fans are obsessed with the girls’ transformations, with one commenting: ‘THESE GIRLS NEVER DISAPPOINT IT WAS WORTH THE WAIT IVE NEVER SEEN ANYTHING LIKE THIS BEFORE.’

‘The fact they’re now the most succesful girl and boy band of the decade lol,’ another said, while one more added: ‘The duality of these girls… periodt.’

Confetti, which features Saweetie, is the band’s first single after Jesy Nelson left last year to focus on her mental health.

Speaking about how they are doing after Jesy’s exit, Jade told Euphoria magazine: ‘It’s still all systems go in Little Mix world.

‘It’s just learning to adapt. I think it’s quite exciting.’

Jade added that they ‘got off to a good start’ as their last single as a quartet Sweet Melody hit number one after Jesy left, saying: ‘That was like, “Oh wow, this is a good sign, good omen, that this year is going to be good for us.”’

Perrie, Jade and Leigh-Anne are set to go on tour next April, after their 2021 dates were rescheduled, but are expected to make an appearance at next month’s Brit Awards – their first as a trio.
