Overnight hotel stays aren’t quite back on the cards yet – but we can still dream of our perfect locations.
And for beer fans, how does an in-room tap sound?
BrewDog has announced it’s planning another hotel with beer available in every room, so you can have an ice cold drink without even needing to get dressed.
The latest hotel will be in Edinburgh, Scotland.
One of the company’s founders, James Watt, said this week: ‘Announcing the @BrewDog DogHouse Edinburgh. An amazing beer hotel & bar in the heart of Scotland’s capital. Expect beer on tap in all the rooms, mini-bars filled with the best beers in the planet & fridges in the shower for shower beers.’
It’s not the first time BrewDog has branched out into accommodation.
The first DogHouse hotel opened in Columbus, Ohio, includes a craft beer museum and library filled with brewing-themed books.
There’s also a smaller Kennels hotel above one of the bars in the same city.
In the UK, you can stay at the Kennels above a bar in Aberdeen, and from this summer, there will be a larger hotel in Manchester.
It features 18 rooms with draft beer taps and shower beer fridges, a BrewDog bar with food and a rooftop urban forest.
BrewDog hasn’t revealed when the Edinburgh location will open but it is expected to be towards the end of this year.
