Tammy Slaton, star of 1000-Lb Sisters, has openly revealed her weight reduction journey to followers.
Thanks to her renowned TV programme, TLC viewers have had a front-row seat to the 37-year-old’s efforts over the previous several years.
She took to Instagram to show how far she has come, while also reducing her usage of filters in rare videos.
Responding to one fan who begged her to turn the animations off, she proudly declared: ‘This is what I really look like. Okay? Have a nice day, babe.’
When others in the comments begged her to ignore the trolls, Tammy insisted that the comments weren’t ‘getting to her’, but she slammed people for being ‘judgmental’ about what she shares on her page.
Having none of it, a follower replied: ‘She LITERALLY films a TV SHOW without a filter and has been open and vulnerable.

‘I’m not understanding why anyone has an issue with filters on here. Again, A WHOLE TV SHOW WITH NO FILTER.’
Another encouraged: ‘Tammy u use filters as much as u want!!! We loooove u!!! [Sic].’
‘You look amazing, don’t let them feel relevant. We know your journey,’ one said.
An Instagram user commented: ‘They’re acting like we haven’t seen you on tv for years! you do you, girl.’

Tammy was asked for weight reduction advice in another post, in which she acknowledged that she was posing without filters.
The reality star swiftly replied: ‘You proteins low carbs, no sugars no pop portion control.’
Tammy’s weight loss struggle has been covered on 1000-Lb Sisters, the TLC show she co-hosts with her sister Amy Slaton.
Season four centred on her return to a food treatment centre following her near-fatal hospitalisation at the end of the previous series.
TLC’s favourite returned to the weight reduction centre after having some time to heal, unwilling to be distracted from her objective.
Speaking to People Magazine about her efforts, Tammy said: ‘I was able to make my lungs strong enough to get my trach [tracheostomy tube for breathing] out, and then recently the doctor cleared me to be off my oxygen machine during the daytime.
‘Now I only wear my oxygen at night, along with my BiPap machine.
‘I’m feeling great! I’m thankful to be alive, and it’s fun to be progressing as much as I am.’
