Tammy Slaton has responded to followers who said she had ‘gained a few pounds’ during her weight reduction makeover.
The 1000-Lb Sisters actress has given fans a front-row seat to her weight loss attempts on the TLC show, and she has already had bariatric surgery.
Following a scary health crisis, the 37-year-old worked hard to achieve her objective, dropping from her highest weight of 725lbs to 285lbs.
She used to TikTok to bash some fans who questioned whether she had taken a step back after posting a haul video of given things, including snacks.
One questioned: ‘I hope you’re still focusing on losing weight. Looks like you’ve gained a few pounds! Not a hater, just a caring fan.’
Having precisely none of it, the TLC favorite recorded a new video to address the comments, and fumed: ‘I haven’t gained any weight. I have not gained any weight. It was the way the camera was angled.’
When another follower questioned a company’s decision to send her sweet ‘treats’ and gifts, Tammy insisted that it was up to her to ‘push’ the products away.
‘I get what you’re saying, but if I’m going to help small businesses, then let them send me candy or cookies,’ she continued in a follow-up clip. ‘It’s up to me to push the candy away and not eat it. Y’all see that I’ve made a lot of progress, and everyday, I still make progress.
‘Please forgive me if I’m coming off as rude or irritated because I am. Y’all don’t have faith in me. I’ve proven myself numerous times that I can lose weight, that I am losing weight and that I’m still losing weight, but y’all continue to post like this. Where is the faith? Where is the trust?
‘I appreciate y’all looking out for me but at the same time, I’m the one that’s got to say no, I’m the one that’s got to push it all away.’
At the end of the video, she stated that the comments had ‘hurt her feelings’, adding, ‘It’s up to me to say no, to push the candies, cookies, and cakes away.
‘I know it’s hard to believe but I seriously do not eat that stuff that much, not anymore. I don’t even crave sugar that much.’
Tammy has experienced a wild ride since being taken to the hospital in 2022, shortly after arriving at a weight reduction rehabilitation centre.
In distressing video shown on 1000-Lb Sisters, medics placed her in a coma and informed her family that her lungs had ‘given up’.

Despite her body ‘shutting down’, she was able to recover enough to return to the food rehab facility, where she worked hard and shed nearly 200lbs to undergo bariatric surgery.
‘I did that! I’m feeling thrilled, proud, excited – just all the emotions,’ she told the cameras at the time.
‘I proved everybody wrong. Everybody that doubted me, I finally got my told-you-so moment!’
