80s pop legend revealed as Eiffel Tower on The Masked Singer

Another figure from The Masked Singer UK has been revealed, meaning Eiffel Tower narrowly missed out on this year’s final.

In a semi-final double elimination, Air Fryer was revealed to be none other than Keala Settle, who astonished the panel of Rita Ora, Davina McCall, Jonathan Ross, and Mo Gilligan.

In our second unmasking of the night, the Eiffel Tower was revealed to be 80s pop diva Tiffany!

Tiffany, whose actual name is Tiffany Darwish, sang her number one song I Think We’re Alone Now at the request of panellist Jonathan, rather than re-singing it.

Speaking after her unmasking about why she did the show, Tiffany, 52, said: ‘I wanted to do The Masked Singer because I am a huge fan of the show, so this was a blast.

‘It’s different watching the show at home than being in one of these fantastic costumes and the energy here is just amazing.’

When asked about her favourite thing about being Eiffel Tower, she added: ‘My favourite thing about Eiffel Tower is lighting up. She is amazing. Now, I’m going to go home to all of my costumes and go, “Well, they don’t light up. What’s happening?” So, we’re going to change that!’

As for who would be the most surprised by her disclosure, the music icon stated that some of her ‘real followers’ may have predicted based on the hand motions she normally performs when playing.

‘I think the panel was most shocked that it was me,’ she admitted.

‘They got really close, but they didn’t get there. I was chuckling inside the costume.’

So far, there have been plenty of surprises as huge icons have been revealed.

The 83-year-old music diva Dionne Warwick, known for her unique voice in Weather, was our first unmasking.

Chicken Caesar was evicted second, followed by Pointless presenter Alexander Armstrong who deceived the audience.

Shirley Ballas, chief judge of Strictly Come Dancing, revealed herself beneath Rat in one of the show’s most tumultuous surprises.

Then came the unveiling of Bubble Tea, whose identity surprised one panel member in particular.

Jennifer Saunders, a guest judge on Absolutely Fabulous, was surprised when her former co-star and on-screen daughter, Julia Sawalha, removed her mask in front of her.

Lorraine Kelly, a well-known daytime TV personality, revealed herself to be the true star behind Owl’s outfit.

Last week, it was discovered that Maypole is Pussycat Doll Melody Thornton, and Dippy Egg is presenter Nicky Campbell.

Now, just three celebrities left to compete for the title of Masked Singer champion 2024 in next week’s finale.

Will Cricket, Piranha, or Big Foot capture the crown? The panel, including comedian Rob Brydon and Doctor Who star David Tennant, will conclude the ultimate guessing game.
