Leah Charles-King, the host of A Place in the Sun, has urged viewers to file complaints after they noticed she was missing from recent episodes.
The Channel 4 lifestyle series follows a couple looking to buy a house in a foreign nation. They are matched with one of the several presenters, who then pass on information about purchasing, running, and keeping a property in a specific region.
Other presenters on the show include Jasmine Harman, Laura Hamilton, Scarlette Douglas, and the late Jonnie Irwin.
However, when new episodes began running weekdays on April 29, some fans noted Leah’s disappearance and attempted to figure out why she was gone.
In a post on X, user Ben questioned whether she would be visible, to which the presenter responded directly.
‘Unfortunately not. And I won’t appear in this current new run either, I’m afraid, Placers! But hopefully the next one. Feel free to kick up a stink about it,’ she posted.
She received numerous letters of support from followers who were disappointed by the news.
‘Well, that’s a shame we love you on the show Leah,’ David commented.
‘Why?! We’re protesting starting from now!’ Dallas shared.
‘Oh no, that’s such a shame!!’ Lynn added.
Others joked they would ‘boycott’ the show until she reappeared.
However soon after Leah confirmed she hadn’t been cut from the series, sharing: ‘I’ve plenty of new episodes in the bank so hopefully I’ll feature in the next run.’
Channel 4 told the Express that Leah, who joined the programme in 2021, is set to be back on air in a new episode on May 29.

‘We all love and support Jonnie, we all saw him at the TRIC awards where A Place in the Sun won and we dedicated it to him live on stage,’ she said.
‘I met Jonnie before when I first got the gig in 2021, and he was so welcoming and warm to me and he left the programme before I even started but he was just wonderful a
