Adele could barely control her laughter after she took part in an awkward sketch on Saturday Night Live.
The Someone Like You singer made her debut hosting the hit NBC sketch show alongside musical guest H.E.R. and SNL regular Kate McKinnon.
During one particular part of the show, Adele was joined by Kate McKinnon and Heidi Gardner as they spoke about the marvels of Africa.
Kate and Adele were not even 30 seconds into the sketch – where they reeled off all the reasons to visit Africa – when the Hello singer began to laugh.
‘The breeze, the mountains, in beautiful beautiful Africa,’ Adele began.
‘The sandy beaches, the massive bamboo, the food, the night life.’
‘After my divorce, I sought after the breath taking views and delicious cuisine,’ Adele added.
However, for some reason, it was the word tribesman and coconut water that set Adele off initially as she barely held it together.
The pop star managed to continue with the skit, but when Heidi joined in, she completely fell apart – and fans were loving it.
Some fans thought Adele laughing was better that the actual skit.
One commented: ‘Adele trying to not laugh was the best part of this sketch.’
Another said: ‘Adele cracking up was funnier than the actual skit.’
‘The way she goes from laughing to crying is golden,’ one added.
‘I know I look really, really different since you last saw me but actually, because of all the Covid restrictions and the travel bans, I had to travel light and only bring half of me – and this is the half I chose,’ she joked.
Adele revealed her weight loss in an Instagram photo celebrating her 32nd birthday in May.
‘Thank you for the birthday love. I hope you’re all staying safe and sane during this crazy time,’ Adele captioned the snap.
It sparked a huge conversation about her transformation, forcing her personal trainer to jump in and defend her, explaining that she ‘made better food choices’ after extensive touring and giving birth to her son Angelo.
