It has been announced that Amanda Holden has left the talent agency that formerly represented Phillip Schofield.
The Britain’s Got Talent judge, 52, was handled for several years by YMU, which has clients like Ant & Dec, Graham Norton, and Davina McCall.
The Sex: A Bonkers History host, on the other hand, has left the agency, following in the footsteps of her husband Chris Hughes, who allegedly quit as director in April.
Emily Atack, best known for her role in The Inbetweeners and other television appearances, has also departed YMU.
A YMU spokesperson said: ‘For all major agencies, people coming and going is a normal part of the business. We wish Amanda and Emily all the best for the future.
‘This year, we have been pleased to welcome many new clients, including Paris Hilton, Mrs Hinch and more recently, Nicole Scherzinger.’
The agency made headlines in May when it revealed it had ‘parted ways’ with Phillip, 61, after 35 years after he admitted to lying about a ‘unwise but not illegal’ romance with a This Morning runner.
Since then, it has been stated that the agency has been experiencing an earnings downturn and has been considering a financial reorganisation.
Sky News earlier reported that the organisation has commissioned external experts to conduct an impartial business assessment.
According to the most current records filed with Companies House, YMU Management LTD generated a profit of £4,796 for the fiscal year 2021.
Amanda’s resignation from YMU comes after she co-hosted the Attitude Awards with Alan Carr last Wednesday in Camden’s Roundhouse.
To begin the award show, the diva donned a bright pink latex mini-dress and matching hat, channelling her inner Barbie for a funny skit with her Ken, better known as Alan.
The entire evening was a celebration of love, as Becky Hill, Alex Scott, and Shirley Bassey were rewarded with trophies.
