Angela Scanlon had the best response to a mean comment from a troll on social media, after having her appearance on Saturday Kitchen criticised.
The presenter was singled out in a harsh Twitter post following a guest stint on the programme yesterday – and she hit back in style.
It comes after a social media user wrote in a now-deleted Tweet: ‘Tell Angela Scanlon to smarten herself up. Hair is a mess and God knows whats shes wearing, looks like Andy Pandy [sic].’
‘Hope shes not getting an appearance fee… but im not paying my licence fee but feel sorry for those who are.’
Responding perfectly, Angela said: ‘No fee darling Peter, that’s not how it works.
‘Also I think your hair looks like s*** too but I generally keep those thoughts to myself. Have a good one sweet man.’

That’s the way to do it.
Fans had Angela’s back following the exchange, showing their support for the 37-year-old.
‘I personally thought you looked stunning on Saturday breakfast. As you always do,’ one wrote.
‘I’m not going to waste my words on a response to that idiot but rather to say you are a breath of fresh air and adored by many. Don’t ever change (I know you won’t),’ another said.
Irish presenter Angela is known for her work on for RTÉ and the BBC. She hosted shows in Ireland such as the documentary Oi Ginger! in 2014.
Since 2016 she has guest hosted the One Show and also co-presented Robot Wars with Dara Ó Briain in 2016.
She also hosts Your Home Made Perfect, which a renovation series that sees architects challenge each other to create the best design for a problem home.
Angela was appearing on Sunday Kitchen to host new spin-off show Your Garden Made Perfect.
