Ant Middleton takes swipe at UK after SAS Who Dares Wins axe and films himself rapping

Ant Middleton has thrown shade at the UK following his departure from SAS: Who Dares Wins.

The 40-year-old former soldier was axed from the Channel 4 programme earlier this month over ‘personal conduct’ but has since flown out to Australia to film the sister show.

Ant updated his fans with a video of him isolating in his hotel and rapping along to Notorious B.I.G’s classic banger Juicy, before hinting in the comments that he wasn’t a fan of living in Britain.

Captioning the post, he wrote: ‘Good morning to all my peeps out there! Positive vibes bursting through my hotel suite and onto the streets of Sydney! ?

‘Life is unique to you as an individual, keep it that way! Positive vibes sent from me to you… Enjoy!’

One fan was quick to point out that the clip was making them feel envious of Ant’s position and wrote: ‘Do you realise how depressing this is when us “normal” peeps have to stay home and can’t go out and do anything see anyone hope youre having fun bro .. we ain’t.’ (sic)

However, Ant stated that the fan could always ditch their country if they wanted their freedom.

‘Lots of “normal” people walking around Sydney!’ he wrote back. ‘It depends what country you’re in. If you don’t like the country you’re in, leave it! I have.’

Channel 4 confirmed Ant’s exit from SAS: Who Dares Wins in a statement saying he would not be taking part in future series with the broadcaster.

‘Following a number of discussions Channel 4 and Minnow Films have had with him in relation to his personal conduct it has become clear that our views and values are not aligned and we will not be working with him again,’ a spokesperson continued.

The presenter had previously appeared to announce the news of his exit on Instagram, where he wrote it had been a ‘journey he’ll never forget.’

‘Hi guys, I’ve got some news which is that after 5 incredible years I’ve decided it’s time to move on from SAS Who Dares Wins UK,’ he penned.

‘Big respect to my fellow DS – its been a journey I’ll never forget. Thanks to everyone that took part and made the show what it is. Really excited about the future and what’s coming this year. Stay positive.’

Ant has also hit back at claims that the reason he was ‘axed’ from the show was because someone had overheard him make an allegedly lewd comment to a female contestant which was picked up on his microphone.
