Natasha Raskin Sharp, a Bargain Hunt celebrity, has announced the birth of her first child.
The 37-year-old broadcaster and antiques expert announced the good news on social media, confirming she will be taking a break from her radio programme for a while.
Natasha wrote: ‘What a way to start the year – the last few days have been nothing short of immense ❤️’
She went on to say her replacement has been confirmed as broadcaster Ravi Sagoo, but vowed to be ‘back soon’.
‘I’ll be handing over my Thursday night @bbcradioscot duties to the excellent @ravisagoogram for a short spell – thanks, Ravi. Catch him from 10pm on @bbcsounds,’ Natasha wrote.
She continued: ‘In the meantime, there’ll be lots of new #bbcbargainhunt and @antiqueroadtrip action (filmed when baby was a mere bump). Back soon! X.’
Her post, which included a cute photo of her holding the newborn’s hands, drew congratulations greetings and comments from fans about how much they’d miss her on TV.
Follower @alisonjulianfield wrote: ‘Well … that’s a quality announcement! We generally watch Road Trip with a bit of a time lag so we will certainly look out for the tiny bump in future episodes 😂 Many Congratulations.’
@mrpaulhawkins added: ‘Will miss you on the Thursday night show but many congratulations.’
Natasha married Joe Sharp, producer of Celebrity Antiques Road Trip, in 2016. They met in 2013.
She is also the daughter of the Scottish artist, Philip Raskin.
In addition to hosting and contributing to Antiques Road Trip, Flog It!, and Bargain Hunt, she has featured as a guest expert on For What It’s Worth with Fern Britton and presented parts on The One Show.
Bargain Hunt airs weekdays at 12.15pm on BBC One.
