Below Deck’s Captain Lee slates James Hough and Elizabeth Frankini as he teases shock exit: ‘Find a different boat to work on’

Captain Lee Rosbach slated some of his Below Deck co-stars after an intense episode, suggesting that some should leave the show.

Viewers watched on as deckhand James Hough and stewardess Elizabeth Frankini continued their on-off relationship, disappearing into a guest cabin for some late-night alone time.

While they weren’t on charter at the time, it is well known that this is against the rules unless permission is granted – something they didn’t bother getting from their bosses.

And, discussing this week’s instalment of the boat-based reality series, Captain Lee didn’t hold back, branding James ‘self-obsessed’ for his actions.

Writing in his captain’s log, he penned: ‘You do your job, but you just can’t seem to keep your personal life personal.

‘Who winks at another female in front of the girl they are dating, and then looks at IG for women who you would tap given the opportunity, also in front of the girl you are dating?

‘Wow, self-centred much? And then the two of you go and play hide the salami in a guest cabin without asking permission.’

Side note: ‘Hide the salami’ is our favourite Captain Lee-ism so far.

This isn’t the only thing James did that annoyed his boss this week, as the yachtie had a sour reaction to Izzy Wouters’ promotion to lead deckhand.

‘If you can’t take the change, there may be another change you may want to make, find a different boat to work on. We shall see,’ he fumed.

Captain Lee also suggested that Elizabeth’s rollercoaster relationship with her co-star was ‘affecting’ her work on board.

‘The fact that you took the liberty of using the guest quarters for you and James doesn’t exactly bode well either,’ he continued.

‘Chess was right, you are not acting professional, and I feel bad about that.

‘Something is going to have to change.’

In the preview for next week’s episode, chief stewardess Francesca Rubi was once more seen debating whether it was time for Elizabeth to pack her bags.

But will the stewardess’ yachting career be thrown overboard?

Below Deck season eight airs on Mondays in the US, and is available to stream on Tuesday on hayu.
