Below Deck’s Izzy Wouters has come out as gay in a candid Instagram post, announcing that she is ‘out and proud’.
The reality star, known for her appearances on the Bravo show, shared a series of pictures of her on board a boat in New Zealand to announce the news.
The post featured a cheeky message, accompanying a picture of herself looking confused with the caption: ‘The face of the straight men who slide into my dm’s when I say – HELLO MY NAME IS IZZY AND I AM OUT AND PROUD.’
She added the hashtags ‘#LankyLezzy’, ‘#P***yPlease’, and ‘#OutAndProud’ as well as posting the pride flag and rainbow emojis.
Izzy went more in depth on her Instagram stories, thanking fans for their messages.
‘Thank you so so much for your support everyone,’ she wrote.
She also joked: ‘Disclaimer: Will still accept money from a platonic sugar daddy or mummy. I don’t discriminate when money is involved.’
Izzy rose to fame after appearing on Below Deck’s eighth season, which she joined alongside Francesca Rubi and Ashling Lorger.
She’s become known for sharing messages of body positivity on social media, as well as her appearances on the show.
In a recent post, she wrote: ‘Let’s keep normalising scars and stretch marks and moles and cellulite and hair that hasn’t been brushed for two days and all the things that make us human.’
