Following an incident last week, Big Brother executives are reportedly beefing up security.
On Thursday, October 12, a YouTuber allegedly attempted to fly a drone above the London residence and video roommates including Yinrun, Farida, and Hallie.
Panicked security personnel were then alleged to have attempted to remove the man, who videotaped their interaction and refused to leave, informing them that his prank was “fair game.”
The series has just recently began, and it is expected to last for more than six weeks, so ITV executives want to secure the site and hope that production can continue without delays or diversions.
A source has claimed: ‘While security measures have always been in place, there was always the hope that the relatively remote location of the Big Brother house might limit the number of people who might attempt to access the house.’
The insider continued to The Sun: ‘But given how popular the reboot of the show has been since launching last week, it has become clear there’s a huge interest in it.

‘And putting footage of attempts to access the house on social media makes it a tempting prospect.
‘The message bosses want to put out is, “Don’t even bother trying — you won’t succeed.”’
A Big Brother spokesperson said: ‘We have robust and rigorous security measures in place across our site for the safety of the Big Brother house, production team and Housemates.
‘Safety and welfare is always a priority.’
Tomorrow is the event of the year; the relaunch of Big Brother on ITV.

According to the BBC, more than 2.5 million viewers turned in to see the Big Brother premiere with AJ Odudu and Will Best earlier this month.
This was a significant increase when compared to another ITV show, Love Island, which only drew 1.3 million viewers on TV this summer, with an extra 400,000 on streaming.
The watching ratings for Big Brother 2023 were the highest in more than a decade, with the show apparently attracting 2.7 million people in 2012 and 2.6 million the previous year.
Only 0.9 million people watched the first episode of the season in 2018, the final year the reality programme aired before it was cancelled.
Big Brother continues tomorrow night at 9pm on ITV2.
