Bobby Brazier admits to being ‘really deflated’ after Saturday night’s edition of Strictly Come Dancing and explained why.
The EastEnders actor, 20, raised eyebrows among fans after performing his and professional partner Dianne Buswell’s tango to David Bowie’s Fashion.
The judges gave the couple mixed opinions for their week four dance, although they gave them a 30 overall, contrasting to outstanding praise in prior weeks.
Many admirers, however, were distracted by how ‘off’ he appeared.
‘Bobby didn’t seem his usual happy self this week bless him, I hope he’s ok?’ wrote one fan on X (Twitter).
Another observed: ‘Bobby didn’t seem very happy tonight. I love watching him. Something was off.’

On It Takes Two on Wednesday, the former pro dancer on the main competition said that he had appeared ‘a bit depressed’ after the judges’ comments.
‘Yeah I was, proper,’ he admitted.
When Janette pressed Bobby, who had been photographed in good spirits with his companion on Tuesday evening, he revealed:
‘To be honest, I think it was less to do with the judges’ comments, I was actually quite happy with the judges’ comments – shocked [even].’

‘Yeah, we were buzzing with it actually,’ interjected Dianne, 34.
‘But Strictly’s a journey and I think I was just very tired and glad to have done the tango and put that all behind me,’ he added.
Dianne also said that she ‘really didn’t go easy on him’ with the routine, explaining that they ‘did not break hold the whole tango’.
‘And that’s something I think needs to be really commended because it was hard,’ she pointed out.
The singer also mentioned ‘pushing’ Bobby to his limits.
‘I’m just so proud of him for trusting me and me being able to push him that little bit further. That’s what this show is about, we’re pushing you to your limits, and I think I did that.’

Dianne was noticeably tearful following their act on Saturday’s episode.
Dianne, who has subsequently made a mysterious remark on social media, told co-host Claudia Winkleman that it had been a ‘tough’ few days.
‘He’s just been a giant rock this week, so thank you,’ she added before hugging him tightly and holding back tears.
Whatever happened, Bobby seems determined to move on, stating recently that he’s taken up meditation to help him de-stress.
He told The Mirror: ‘There’s always an opportunity to chant. Even on the train and going to work in the car.

‘No one is ever too busy to meditate ever. It is an opportunity to purify consciousness.’
The duo has also had a more pleasant start to the week, as well as their new dance, the Viennese waltz, which Dianne says has ‘certainly been simpler’.
‘I mean, from Monday we both just fell in love with the song, in love with the dance. We’ve been super happy this week.’
‘This is actually my favourite. I think I’ve taken to this quicker than I have to any of the other dances so far,’ Bobby agreed.
It Takes Two airs weekdays at 6:30pm on BBC Two. Strictly Come Dancing continues at 6:35pm on Saturday on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
