Bobby Brazier of Strictly Come Dancing is already one of the hot favourites to win the glitter ball trophy this series, and it now appears that even larger prospects await him.
This weekend, the Freddie Slater actor, 20, made his dancing debut with seasoned partner Dianne Buswell.
Bobby and Dianne have already delighted the public, scoring a very respectable 29 points from the judges, with their romantic foxtrot leaving dad Jeff in tears in the crowd.
But it’s not only Strictly fans who like Bobby; PR gurus anticipate the child will have a successful career in Hollywood.
Bobby is expected to become one of the highest-paid performers on television, which might lead to a £2.6 million bidding war.
A PR expert told The Sun: ‘Strictly will show the US how versatile he is and no doubt make him even more appealing, he could be the star of the next hit drama to come from across the pond.’
She went on to say that Bobby’s recent National Television Awards win as best rookie might put him in competition with a Happy Valley actor for one of the most expensive types of contracts.
Carla Speight went on: ‘He’s likely to find himself with a “golden handcuffs” style contract, after a short bidding war between the channels.
‘Sarah Lancashire reportedly earned £1.3million from her deal, making her the highest-paid TV actress in 2000.
‘Bobby will easily double that with the right channel and the right jobs.’
But that’s not all, as Carla assures there’s a ‘whole heap of opportunities for Bobby right now.’
‘The more the public see him, the more they love him and he needs to focus on taking his career to new heights.’
Bobby, whose mother is Big Brother star Jade Goody, who died from cervical cancer in 2009, was tied for second place on the scoreboard after his first live Strictly routine.
Bobby can’t afford to rest on his laurels as the battle heats up, as Amanda Abbington, Layton Williams, and Ellie Leach all got 20 points.
Considering he hasn’t seen Strictly… ever, he’s doing rather well.
The soap star made the awkward admission ahead of his first performance, saying on This Morning: ‘My first experience of Strictly is being on Strictly.’
Pro partner Dianne, 34, then explained how this has affected their preparations.
‘Every single time I mention a dance he’s like, “I’ve never heard of it.” It is quite exciting because he is learning from scratch so has no bad habits,’ she said.
Despite knowing nothing about dancing, Bobby has been eager to join involved, recently joked about his desire to do the’sexy’ numbers.
Despite his present hectic lifestyle, the growing celebrity is striving to remain grounded.
‘I meditate and I try to remember things that really ground me and great things people have told me,’ he told The Mirror: ‘I read and I chant – hopefully I can keep that up.’
Strictly Come Dancing continues Saturday on BBC One and iPlayer.
