Bradley Walsh was left stunned on The Chase after coming face to face with a contestant who previously found fame as a musician.
The presenter was introduced to 52-year-old Paul Hanley, who spoke about his past before taking on chaser Anne Hegerty.
Paul introduced himself as an IT manager – but he hasn’t always been behind a computer.
The Manchester native explained that he actually used to be in an icon band called The Fall – which Bradley remembered.
‘Well I was a drummer before I was an IT technician,’ Paul said.
‘What, on the road?’ Bradley asked.

‘Yeah, with a band called The Fall.’
Bradley went on to say he remembered the group, who were lead by Mark E Smith before his death in 2018.
‘I remember The Fall, yes I do, good for you. What made you leave?’ Bradley said.
Paul then joked: ‘I decided I was going to form my own band and become a multimillionaire rockstar. Hence why I’ve been in IT for the past 25 years.’
Paul played in the group from 1980 to 1985, and also said that he is currently studying for an English Literature degree at the Open University.

Despite doing well to gather £7,000 in the cash builder round, he was knocked out by Anne and didn’t take part in the final.
Elsewhere, EastEnders star Shaun Williamson absolutely astounded Beat The Chasers viewers when he walked away with a whopping £120,000 for charity after taking on all five Chasers.
Alan Carr also recently revealed that fans are utterly convinced that The Chase star Anne was his mum. Yes, really.
The Chase airs weekdays at 5pm on ITV.
