Brenda Edwards was terrified after viewing the scathing mockumentary Gregg Wallace: The British Miracle Meat.
The Channel 4 documentary accompanied the MasterChef judge as he visited a ‘human flesh’ facility in Lincolnshire on Monday evening.
The meat was collected from ‘thin slices of human tissue’ in a ‘nutrient rich mix’ that stimulates cell development, with ‘human flesh’ being far cheaper than animal alternatives amid the cost of living crisis, according to the show.
The most terrifying part of the documentary was when a lady named Gillian, 67, appeared, with the retired receptionist whipping her thigh for £200 to assist her pay two weeks’ worth of heating bills.
While lying on the operation table to have her tissue ‘extracted,’ she was even asked if she wanted to have two extractions for an additional fee!
However, everything wasn’t as it seemed and it was in fact a ‘thought-provoking commentary’.

A Channel 4 spokesperson said: ‘This “mockumentary” is a witty yet thought-provoking commentary on the extreme measures many people are being forced to take to stay afloat in our society during the cost of living crisis.
‘Channel 4 has a long and rich history of satire and has often used humour as an accessible way to highlight society’s most important issues.’
Brenda, 54, watched the show unaware that it was a hoax, and she discussed how it affected her brain on Loose Women.

‘I came home after the show last night, and it takes a little time to unwind but I was so riled up after watching this 27-minute mockumentary, which I didn’t realise as it didn’t at any point in time when I started watching it say “This is a mockumentary”.’
She continued: ‘In a world of fake news where you just don’t know what to believe nowadays it really concerned me and I was up all night thinking someone soon might come and eat me.
‘It was a bit too far for me,’ she concluded.
Judi, 43, added some levity to the conversation by joking that if this were to happen, she’d ‘be eaten first,’ since she’s tasty.
She then argued: ‘In a takeaway, we’re probably eating things we don’t want to anyway’.
Brenda was not the only one fooled by the mockumentary.
Loose Women airs weekdays from 12.30pm on ITV.
