Brian McFadden admits he wet himself ‘a bit’ during SM:TV Live segment with Declan Donnelly

Brian McFadden admitted to wetting himself during a segment with Declan Donnelly on SM:TV Live.

The pop star revealed that he still laughs about that particular moment even today.

In a Pokemon sketch on the hit 90s Saturday morning show, Dec was dressed as his drag character Misty when Westlife came on to the stage performing their hit song Flying Without Wings.

However, when Dec ripped off his yellow shirt, he revealed a t-shirt with a huge photo of Brian on the front.

Brian remembers being in fits of laughter when Dec ran around the stage screaming his name: ‘BRIANNNN’.

Chatting about the skit on The Story of SM:TV Live, Ant McPartlin said of Misty: ‘She liked Brian a lot, she was obsessed by him.’

Brian commented: ‘We were just told, the boys are going to do their little Pokemon sketch and what we need you to do is, the five of you come out behind the boys while they’re doing it and sing a little bit of Flying Without Wings, that’s all I was told.’

‘Next thing, Dec rips off his top and he’s got a picture of my face on his chest, and I just lost it, I literally could not hold it together and I’ve never laughed so much,’ he added.

‘I’m not going to lie, a little pee came out, just a little bit of pee came out, I laughed that hard.’

Brian went on to add that even 20 years on fans still tweet the video to him.

‘It’s one of the funniest moments I’ve ever been involved in on TV,’ he continued.

Viewers also found the sketch just as funny as one tweeted: ‘Omg the Brian bit is phenomenal.’

Another said: ‘I’m trying to do an impression of Brian.’

While one added: ‘No wonder I love Westlife so much, they were always on this show.’

‘Really enjoying this look back at the story of SM:TV Live. I still remember watching the Westlife/Pokemon (BRYAN?!) bit live and absolutely p***ing myself,’ another tweeted.

SM:TV Live is available to watch on the ITV hub.
