Amanda Holden and Bruno Tonioli were both moved to tears by a Welsh choir on Britain’s Got Talent.
The choir, dubbed Johns’ Boys, is made up of tree surgeons, car salesmen, students, and everyone in between, ranging in age from 14 to 73.
They joked as they reached the stage for their audition that it was good to see humans with two legs, given that they usually practise in a cow shed.
And their stunning rendition of Calum Scott’s Biblical gave everyone goosebumps as soon as they started singing.
It didn’t take long for former Strictly Come Dancing judge Bruno, 67, to burst into tears, filled with emotion.
Meanwhile, Amanda, 52, later admitted that when she learned the group was a Welsh choir, she knew she was going to cry.
Bruno applauded their “perfection,” while Alesha Dixon appreciated how “together” they sounded.
Amanda couldn’t help but compliment their “powerful vocals,” and Simon Cowell was eager to award them a “yes” and send them on to the next round.
Home viewers were equally astounded.
‘Absolutely loved that. Best audition yet’, one Twitter user wrote.
‘Amazing. Perfect for a royal performance’, another penned, as the winner of BGT gets to perform at the Royal Variety Performance.
‘How did Johns Boys not get a golden buzzer’, another viewer asked.
‘I was in tears!’, Bruno said afterwards after crying all the way through the song.
‘It really touched me and it was really simple. You sang like an angel.’
Meanwhile, a 13-year-old magician left Amanda in tears in week one.
Amanda, who is known for sobbing on the programme, was in hysterics owing to Cillian’s humorous quips, but she was soon drying her eyes as the student cheered the audience’s reaction.
‘You’ve made me and Alesha a mess!’ the judge said.
Britain’s Got Talent continues next Saturday on ITV1 and ITVX.
