Britain’s most tattooed woman has revealed she started inking her face after running out of room on her body.
Becky from Cheshire joined Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield on today’s episode of This Morning, where she revealed that her addiction had her covered head to toe in art in just a matter of years – including her groin and intimate area.
‘When did you put your first one on your face?’ a curious Phil asked. ‘How did that happen?’
‘I think it was about five years ago that I did these ones on the side,’ Becky confessed.
‘I ran out of space and I just wanted more. I always said that I was never going to get tattoos on my hands, my throat, or my face, I always wanted them to be covered with clothes because they were for me, they weren’t for anybody else.
‘But then once I ran out of space and I got so addicted to it that I thought, “Do you know what? I’m just going to go for it. I’m already so covered I may as well just put them anywhere”.’
Becky also added that a lot of her inkings mean something personal to her.
‘I’ve got one for my parents, I’ve got one for my sister, I’m going to get my daughter’s name as soon as I’m allowed to go to the tattoo studio,’ she said.
Hitting out at the critics, she told Holly and Phil: ‘It’s my body and my choice.’
Viewers were in awe of her artwork, with one writing: ‘I personally think she looks good with the tattoos. It’s her body let her do what she wants. Does anyone criticise you for things you do to your body? Tattoos? Piercings?’
Another penned: ‘Beautiful lady with the tattoos. As long as she’s happy, that’s all that matters.’
This Morning airs weekdays from 10am on ITV.
