Caitlyn Jenner claimed that she and her ex-wife Kris Jenner no longer talk.
The 73-year-old former Olympic athlete, formerly known as Bruce Jenner before to her gender change, was married to the momager for nearly two decades before their divorce in 2013.
Kendall, 27, and Kylie, 26, are the couple’s kids, and their marriage and family life were filmed on the smash reality show Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
Caitlyn Jenner endorsed the new Sky docu-series House of Kardashians, which follows the famous family’s ascent to fame, on Wednesday’s This Morning.
Caitlyn Jenner, who shares kids Kendall and Kylie Jenner with the matriarch, admitted they no longer talk when hosts Holly Willoughby and Josie Gibson questioned about her current connection with his ex.
‘Kris,’ she explained. I hardly ever speak to any of them now.
‘It’s sad. If there is any communications Sophia Hutchins is my manager, she kind of runs the show so she talks to them.’
Caitlyn Jenner has boys Brody, Brandon, and Burt Jenner and a daughter Cassandra from previous marriages, in addition to Kendall and Kylie and Kris’ children Kim, Khloe, Kourtney, and Rob.
Talking about how she gets on with the rest of the family, Caitlyn explained: ‘When you have as many kids as I have you are closer to some than you are to others. And it’s kind of that way through there, through that side of the family.
‘I certainly see them, we do this and that. I’m much closer to the Jenner side, with Brandon and Brody and my son Burt, my daughter Casey.’
She continued: ‘With Kris I really don’t have any contact with her. It’s kind of sad, because we went through a lot.’
Discussing the upcoming documentary Caitlyn explained: ‘I wanted to protect my family. I’m a parent, I love my children… and you know the Kardashian side and a little bit of the Jenner side.
‘But I think a lot of times in the media you get totally misrepresented, so I wanted to do it just to say first of all how much I love my kids, and second of all how proud I am of them and what they’ve been able to accomplish. It is an amazing story.’
