CBBC show Raven turns 20 in just a matter of months and we’re all feeling incredibly old.
The children’s adventure series followed a team of six daring warriors as they took on an array of challenges, with presenter James Mackenzie guiding them around the course while dressed as, you guessed it, a raven.
The competition show first aired in December 2002 and continued with James for 10 seasons, before Aisha Toussaint took over for its second iteration in 2017 to 2018.
James reminded fans of Raven’s upcoming milestone while sharing a photo of himself in all his Raven clobber on social media.
‘Later this year it’ll be 20yrs since this bird took his first flight on @cbbc,’ he penned. ‘Maybe they should stick all 13 series up on the @BBCiPlayer just suggesting for a friend 🤷🏻♂️😜(disclaimer; pic not from 20yrs ago).’
The post instantly had fans reminiscing about the series, and agreeing that old episodes should be uploaded to iPlayer.

‘You absolute boss man,’ wrote one. ‘Loved this show as a young lad 😀😁. To celebrate, why don’t they make an adult Raven?’
‘What a man and what a show,’ another added.
‘Kid’s these days have no idea. This was television at its best THE GOAT I’ll be 30 next year but I’d definitely watch the series back if it was on BBC iPlayer. I never got the chance to be one of raven’s warriors but I always felt like one 👍’
For those struggling to remember, each series of Raven saw three groups of six warriors put through their paces in various challenges.
Each group would feature for five days and after day two, the warrior with the least rings would face the terrifying Way of the Warrior, to decide whether they could stay in the competition.
Eventually, only two contestants would go through to compete in the final quest, where one would become the ultimate warrior.
