Channel 4 will air a special episode of Celebrity Gogglebox tonight as part of Black to Front, Channel 4’s ongoing commitment as an anti-racist organisation ‘to improve Black representation on and off screen.’
The show will feature a mixture of famous faces and Gogglebox regulars, who will share their thoughts and opinions on the very best and worst of British TV from the past week, all from the comfort of their sofas.
As well as Gogglebox, Channel 4 is airing a whole host of shows over the course of the night to help ‘amplify the conversations around representation and portrayal, and drive long-term change.’
Countdown and Channel 4 News will be featuring Black talent, while glamorous new reality show Highlife, which ‘follows the lives and loves of a group of ambitious, glamorous young British West Africans all chasing their own idea of success,’ are on the schedule.
Viewers can also watch Barry Jenkins’ triple Oscar-winning drama, Moonlight, which explores the life of an African-American man in Miami struggling with his homosexuality, his mother’s drug addiction, and verbal, physical and emotional abuse.
Who is on Celebrity Gogglebox tonight?
Tonight’s Gogglebox will star some old favourites, as well as celebrity friends.
The big names include Wretch 32 with Ghetts, model Jourdan Dunn and her brother Antoine, and Diversity’s Ashley and Jordan Banjo with Perri Kiely.
Comedians Mo Gilligan and Babatundé Aléshé will take to their sofa once again, as well as Eddie Kadi and Michael Dapaah, to offer undoubtedly hilarious commentary on the week’s television.
As if that wasn’t enough Drag Race stars Tia Kofi and Tayce are confirmed, as well as EastEnders stars Rudolph Walker and Tameka Empson, plus content creator and comedian Fatima Timbo with disability activist and podcaster Kimmy Soko.
Viewers can also catch series regulars the Plummer brothers – Tremaine, Twaine and Tristan – plus lovable duos Marcus and Mica and Amira and Amani sharing their views on everything from films to reality shows.
What time is Celebrity Gogglebox on tonight?
Celebrity Gogglebox airs just after Love it or List it, in which Scarlette Douglas and her brother Stuart are stepping into Kirstie & Phil’s shoes for a special edition of the home improvement show.
Gogglebox follows at 9pm.
The episode will be available to stream afterwards on All 4.
