KSI had the nation in hysterics as he suffered a huge culinary disaster on last night’s episode of Celebrity Great British Bake Off.
Appearing on the Channel 4 charity special alongside Katherine Ryan, Jade Thirwall, and Stacey Dooley, the YouTuber and rapper faced a blunder of epic proportions as he decided to shake-up his technical.
After judges Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith had set the contestants the challenge of making a cherry lattice pie, KSI – real name JJ – opted to cut around the tricky lattice and instead cut out two pastry rectangles and stuck them on top of his pudding.
KSI removed his pie from the oven after just 10 minutes and plated it up. And when its contents started leaking out, he decided to flip the pie over.
No sooner than he’d turned the pie upside down did he quickly realise the error of his mistake.
‘This might have been a bad decision,’ KSI commented as the insides oozed all over the cake stand.

Moments later, KSI held his head in his hands and fell to the floor while presenter Matt Lucas quipped: ‘Taxi for JJ!’
‘I don’t even want to taste it,’ Prue commented as she glanced at KSI’s handiwork.
Viewers have hailed KSI’s baking blunder as their favourite-ever moment from the show – and it’s easy to see why.
‘This has to be my favourite EVER moment in Bake Off,’ wrote one.’ When the penny drops it’s a moment of pure comedy gold. This is literally something I’d do. Thank you KSI.’

Echoing a similar sentiment, another added: ‘I am actually in tears at KSI’s cherry lattice pie. The realisation of what he’d done when putting it on the pedestal.’
‘KSI’s cherry lattice pie will go down in Bake Off history,’ a third added. ‘Almost died from laughter.’
Four out of five episodes of Celebrity Bake Off have aired so far, with X Factor’s Alexandra Burke, James McAvoy, Inside Number Nine’s Reece Shearsmith, and Little Mix’s Jade being named winners.
Next week’s chapter will see John Bishop, Ade Adepitan, Anneka Rice and Nadine Coyle battle it out to be named star baker.
Celebrity Bake Off airs Tuesdays at 8pm on Channel 4.
