Channel 4 viewers have flocked to social media to report new issues for the broadcaster on Wednesday afternoon.

The channel crashed during an edition of Steph’s Packed Lunch where those who were watching were left with a frozen screen of Dane Baptiste midway through the programme.

One viewer tweeted: ‘Meanwhile, Channel 4 appears to be broken again and has been showing this still image for some time now.’

Another shared a screengrab of the channel, hilariously stuck on a screengrab with the title card asking viewers: ‘Are you superstitious?’

Viewers have shared that the channel has since been taken off-air, with a card up reading ‘programmes continue shortly.’

The broadcaster reportedly hasn’t made any announcements yet as to when things will be back up and running.

It’s the latest in a series of technical issues for the channel, which has left many deaf and visually impaired viewers in limbo due to a lack of subtitles, sign language interpreters and audio description.
