A celebrity has finally managed to go all the way and win $1million on Who Wants to Be a Millionaire US, after two decades.

Celebrity chef David Chang achieved what no other start has been able to on Sunday night’s episode of the ABC game show.

Netflix’s Ugly Delicious host won the grand prize for his charity, the Southern Smoke Foundation which is a crisis relief organization for people within the food and beverage industry.

The final question was a nail-biter as Kimmel asked: ‘Although he and his wife never touched a light switch for fear of being shocked, who was the first president to have electricity in the White House?’

The options were Ulysses S. Grant, Chester A. Arthur, Benjamin Harrison and Andrew Johnson.

Chang decided to use the phone-a-friend lifeline to get help from ESPN anchor Mina Kimes as he stated: ‘This is terrifying. She’s so much smarter than I am though. And she knows this stuff.

‘I didn’t do well enough in school and I was a terrible student — that’s why I became a chef.’

Kimmel piled on the pressure while the pair tried to figure out the answer as he reminded them that no celebrity had ever managed to win the show.

Fortunately Chang took his friends advice and they correctly guessed that Harrison was the right answer.
